Zooms used to be something you placed by hand. Now Klipeo can read a recording and place them for you.
From clicks
There is a new Record tab in the editor sidebar. "Suggest zooms" builds zoom segments around the clicks in your recording, with the camera following the cursor inside each one. Cursor motion is smoothed, so a zoom glides instead of jittering. You can also add a zoom at the playhead, and draw a clean synthetic cursor with click ripples over the footage, both in the preview and in exports.
Zooms set to follow the cursor now actually track the recorded mouse during playback, in browser exports, and in server renders, including recordings made with an area selection. Server renders also picked up the framed look that the preview and the browser export already had: padding, rounded corners, shadow, and wallpaper.
From video alone
Two options exist for footage that was never recorded inside Klipeo. Cursor detection finds the pointer by its motion in any imported or full-screen recording, which unlocks auto-zoom and the synthetic cursor for that clip at no cost.
AI auto-zoom is the other. One button sends the recording to Gemini, which watches it and places zoom moments where something happens: a button click, a form fill, a menu opening. They arrive as normal editable zoom segments, so you can move or delete any of them. It costs a few credits per run, and the free cursor-detection path stays available.
How you'll experience it
Open a recording, go to the Record tab, and press Suggest zooms. If the clip came from somewhere else, run cursor detection first.
