Screen Recording
Record your screen straight into the editor, with mic and system audio, and cursor data that feeds auto-zoom.
You don't need a separate capture app for a demo or a walkthrough. The round red Record screen button in the editor records straight into your media.
Recording
Hit the button and a small dialog opens with two options, both on by default:
- Include microphone — your voice.
- Include system audio — whatever the machine is playing.
Both get mixed into a single audio track, so you can leave them on together. Start recording and your browser asks which screen, window, or tab to share. Klipeo records at 30 fps as WebM (VP9 where the browser supports it, otherwise VP8) with Opus audio, and shows a running timer while it goes.
Finishing
Stop & import ends the recording and drops it into your media as
Recording <date and time>.webm, ready to drag onto a track. Using your browser's own
"Stop sharing" bar does the same thing — the recording still imports.
Cursor tracking
While it records, Klipeo also tracks where your cursor went. That's what powers Suggest zooms on the zoom regions — without a recording made in Klipeo, that button stays disabled and reads "Record to enable auto-zoom."
If macOS blocks it
If the browser can't see your screen, macOS is usually the reason. Grant your browser Screen Recording permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security, then relaunch the browser and try again.
