Privacy Policy

Account information: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use them to identify your account and never sell them.

Your content: video, audio, images, and project data you upload or create are stored so the editor can function. Uploaded media is stored in our cloud storage; project data is stored in our database.

Usage data: technical logs, error reports, and product interaction events help us operate and improve Klipeo. When configured, PostHog receives account identifiers and usage metadata. The web app, including the mobile editor web view, uses masked session replay. Native mobile screens do not record session replay or automatic screen activity; native edit submissions send counts and selected controls, not prompt text or media.

The Android app uses the system photo and document pickers to access the files you select. Camera access is used when you choose to capture media, and microphone access supports audio recorded with video. You can decline access or change permissions in Android Settings.

Selected media is uploaded to Klipeo's cloud storage when you attach it to an edit or mini app. Exports are downloaded to the app cache when you choose to save or share them. Native permissions are not used to collect your contacts, location, or advertising identifier.

Features like transcription, captions, and generation send the relevant media to our AI processing providers (such as fal.ai and Google) solely to produce the result you requested. We do not use your content to train models.

We use providers for hosting, Cloudflare R2 media storage, AI processing, authentication, PostHog analytics, Dodo website payments, and Google Play Android payments. Dodo handles website checkout; Google Play handles Android checkout. Klipeo verifies purchase tokens and stores order, subscription, and pseudonymous account records to provide credits, restore access, and process refunds. Klipeo does not receive your card details from Google Play. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

Your projects and media persist while your account is active. You can delete your account from account settings or request account and data deletion by emailing humi@klipeo.com.

Account deletion removes your account and associated content records. Pseudonymous Google Play account mappings, purchase tokens, and order records remain without the deleted user link to prevent reuse of a purchase on another account and support billing reconciliation. Storage cleanup is attempted during deletion. Provider-held records, historical exports, and shared copies can require separate follow-up. Contact support about retention and the status of your request. Cancel recurring billing with Google Play or the original payment provider before deleting your account.

When you report unsafe content, Klipeo stores the description you submit, the screen it came from, your account identifier, and an edit identifier when supplied. Reports are available to administrators for moderation review and are removed with your account records. Report forms and the review queue are excluded from web session replay, and report details are not sent to product analytics.
