Screen recording in Klipeo went from a dialog you clicked through to a control surface you work in.
Recording
After picking a source you can drag-select the exact area to record. The selection happens on a frozen full-size frame, so you no longer see an infinite mirror of your own screen while you choose. A floating pill replaces the old dialog once recording starts: timer, pause, resume, stop, discard. Pausing no longer desyncs the cursor track from the video, and clicks are recorded alongside cursor movement so auto-zoom has something real to work with.
The pill itself got a pass. The blinking dot is a glossy red gem with a slow breathing halo, amber while paused, and stop is red-tinted so the destructive action reads at a glance.
Backgrounds and camera
The Record tab is organized like a sidebar rather than a stack of dialogs, with Background, Zoom, and Cursor sections in one place. Background covers wallpaper, padding, corners, and shadow, and there are six wallpaper images that render in the preview canvas and in exports, cover-fit.
You can also turn on a camera bubble in the record dialog. A draggable circular live preview floats while you record, and when you stop, the camera clip lands on its own top track as a bottom-left picture-in-picture.
How you'll experience it
Start a recording as usual and you will be asked to pick an area before the pill appears. Existing recordings are unaffected, but new ones carry the click data that the auto-zoom tools use.
