The Script tab can now start from what you said in a recording, clean it up, and read it back in an AI voice that replaces your take. When the narration is ready, the Translation view makes a copy of the whole composition in another language.
Start the script from your recording
Open Transcript and the Script tab. Each video clip with an empty block now has From recording. Press it and the block fills with what was said in that clip. Klipeo uses your subtitles when they cover the clip, and otherwise transcribes just that clip, charged like Generate subtitles. To fill every empty block at once, choose Fill empty blocks from the recording in the ☰ menu.
Rewrite now also removes filler words, false starts, and words said twice, so a spoken take reads like a script.
The AI voice replaces your take
Pick a voice and press Voice-over. The read lands on the timeline at the start of the clip, and the clip's own audio is muted so you only hear the new voice. A recorded take or a re-voiced take does the same.
Changed your mind? Use original audio on the block removes the voice-over, unmutes the clip, and puts back the words you said. Clips you had muted yourself stay muted.
Translate the composition
Choose Translate subtitles in the Captions panel's menu, or Translate the script and captions in the Transcript menu. Pick a language and press Create Spanish copy (the button names the language you chose). Klipeo translates every subtitle and script block and saves a copy next to the original, so the composition you are editing never changes. Press Open when it finishes.
Turn on Dub the script and pick a voice to have each translated block read aloud on a new audio track, with the clip audio it replaces muted. A list shows each step as it runs, and if one fails the reason appears above the button. Try again reuses the translation and reads that already worked, as long as the panel stays open.
Translation is metered on the text it processes, and each dubbed block costs the same as a voice-over.
