A portrait can now speak your recording's voice, a stack of clips can become one, and a grade can be built in steps.
AI avatar
Recorded without a camera, or don't like the take? In the Record panel's Camera tab, open AI avatar, pick a portrait from your media and the clip with your voice, and press Make avatar. Klipeo turns the portrait into a lip-synced video that speaks your voice and puts it in the camera bubble. The button shows the credit cost before you start. The same tool is in the AI mini apps as Talking avatar.
Camera background
Camera background in the Camera tab blurs the room behind you or removes it so the recording shows behind you. You can also ask Vibe to "blur my background".
Record an Android phone
In the Mac app, the Phone card now records an Android phone over USB when no iPhone is plugged in. Turn on USB debugging on the phone, install Android platform tools, and plug it in.
Compound clips
Select some clips, right-click, and choose New compound clip. They become one clip you can move, trim, and cut, with their own tracks kept inside. Decompose in place puts them back.
Color nodes
The Color tab and the Color page have a row of nodes. Press + Node to add one: each node grades the result of the one before, so you can balance in the first, set a look in the second, and fix one color in the third.
Server renders draw more
Camera layouts, the camera shrinking during a zoom, the watermark, and the Record panel's masks (Spotlight, Blur, Mosaic, Magnifier, Callout) now show in a server render too, so those timelines no longer have to export in the browser.
