The Mac app's native editor now uses the same layout, colors, type, and controls as the editor in your browser, so moving between the two feels like one product.
The same layout
The header runs across the top, your media and the preview sit over the timeline, and a column on the right holds Inspect and Vibe. Selecting a clip brings Inspect forward. Canvas size, background, and frame rate now live in Inspect when nothing is selected, as they do on the web.
Inspect, as on the web
Select a clip to see its name with a delete button, then Properties and Audio. Properties has Layout with align buttons and X, Y, W, and H, Orientation, and Appearance for opacity and blend mode, with Crop, Speed, and Clip folded below. Audio has sound on or off, volume, and fades.
Drag any number sideways to change it, or click it to type. Hold Shift to move faster and Option for finer steps.
The same look everywhere
Panels, buttons, tabs, and text across the native editor now use the web editor's colors and its two typefaces, General Sans and Quicksand.
