Map templates now come in seventeen looks, from an aged parchment chart to a neon grid, and every route arcs over the map like a flight. Two new map templates show values per country and a before-and-after change.

Ten new looks
Open Templates, then the Maps chip. The new looks are Parchment, Neon, Newsprint, Pastel, Chalkboard, Risograph, Gold, Editorial, Topographic, and Dark 3D. Each is more than a colour change: it has its own paper or surface, label type, pins, route line, arrows, and title panel. Parchment adds a compass rose, Editorial and Topographic a scale bar, and Gold a fine gilt frame.
The existing looks got better too. Graphite, Editorial, and Dark 3D show real terrain, and land casts a soft shadow on the water.
Routes that fly
A route now lifts into an arc, with its path traced on the ground below. The line fades in from the tail, an airliner flies along it with its shadow underneath, and a ripple marks the landing. Turn Plane off and an arrow leads the line instead, drawn in the look's own style.
Two new maps
Bubble map takes one Country: value per line and grows a bubble or a
column on each country while the number counts up. Before and after map
shows one set of countries, then wipes a second set in over it, with a label
for each side.
Move labels where you want them
Map labels, title cards, and a route's distance badge are now parts you can drag on the canvas, so two close cities never have to overlap.
