Zooms on your screen recordings now move on springs. They push in with a little weight, follow your cursor without chasing every wiggle, and look the same in the preview, your export, and the Mac app.
A camera that settles instead of easing
A zoom starts pushing in when its region starts and settles in about half a second. Zooms close together stay in and pan across instead of zooming out and back. When a zoom follows the cursor, the view holds still while the pointer stays in the middle of it and glides after it once it leaves. Near an edge the camera goes all the way to the corner, and it never shows past the frame.
Set the amount, see where a zoom came from
Select a zoom and its Zoom tab has a continuous Amount from 1× to 4.5×. New zooms start at 2×. Zooms placed from your recording say what placed them, for example From click at 0:12, and Go to moment jumps there. Feel picks how every zoom moves: Gentle, Smooth, or Snappy. With Manual focus, click the preview to aim the zoom.
Ask Vibe to change your zooms
Vibe can now zoom in on a moment you name ("zoom in on the menu at 0:12"), make zooms stronger or softer, switch them to follow your cursor, turn the spotlight on, or remove the zooms between two times. It also reads up to 200 click moments in a long recording instead of 60.
