Shape your edit from a video reference

Give Vibe a reference video when you describe your edit. Product launch plans can use its pacing, visual hierarchy, and motion to shape editable scenes.

Choose the direction when it matters

When your brief leaves the visual direction open, Vibe can ask a concise question before editing. Your answer stays with the conversation. Reopening a chat also restores its current question or approval without replaying resolved approvals.

Your default Brand Design kit applies automatically. With no default, Vibe can offer saved kits alongside a new style when the direction is still open.

Use references without adding them to the timeline

Ask Vibe to import a public Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or X video as a reference. You can also supply a video file. Imported references stay in your media library until you choose to place them in the edit.

Launch plans support up to five reference images or videos. Analysis samples the video; it does not inspect every source frame. If a link cannot be downloaded, Vibe reports the failure so you can upload the file instead.

Put words behind the subject

Ask Vibe to remove a video's background, then place text behind its subject. The edit keeps the original footage underneath, editable text in the middle, and the transparent foreground above it, with synchronized timing and one copy of the audio.

Transparent video uses the web compositor, including inside the Mac app. A composition that needs this feature stays in the web editor rather than opening in the native compositor.
