Vibe can inspect an approved website and bring back observations and source links, or record a walkthrough for your edit. Both use the Klipeo extension in Chrome. Development builds also add control of Klipeo's Mac windows and recording from its phone app.
Find the material you need
Give Vibe a URL and a goal, such as finding product images or checking what a feature does. Approve the task and it can browse the site without making a recording or changing your timeline. Review the visited pages and choose Import for an image or video you want to use.
Choose an existing signed-in tab or let Vibe open its own tabs. A small strip above the chat box shows what the agent is doing. Take over gives you the tab for a login challenge; Hand back continues from a fresh view. Stop ends the task.
Keep the recorded take
When you need footage, ask Vibe to record the steps. The finished demo goes to Recordings and your timeline with cursor data for zooms and trims. Saving waits for the last video chunk, and failed uploads or result delivery keep the captured take in the extension. Uncollected takes are cleaned up after 24 hours.
Choose Use in a new edit in Recordings to attach a saved take to the Home composer.
Continue from the Mac app
A browser task started in the Mac app's embedded Vibe view opens a continuation page in Chrome. Sign in to Klipeo there and choose Start in Chrome. The full native editor needs the web editor for browser tasks; native screen recording remains available.
Control your edit and record on your phone
In a development build of the native Mac editor, choose Control Klipeo in Vibe to let it inspect and operate Klipeo's windows. Approve the request and allow the macOS permissions. Local input pauses the agent, and you keep Hand back and Stop controls.
Updated phone builds let Vibe request a recording, upload the saved take and place it on your timeline for editing. You approve the phone's recording prompt and operate the phone yourself. iOS records Klipeo; Android records the app or display you select. These native paths require a new app build and device testing before release.
The extension is currently available as a development build loaded into Chrome. A Chrome Web Store listing is not available yet. Follow the extension setup instructions. You can upload recordings, screenshots, or source files when browser access is unavailable.
