Templates & Canvas

Start from a template, and set your canvas size, frame rate, and the beautify frame styling.

Templates

Choose Visual templates for timeline layers or Script styles for a writing starting point. The script list has 24 styles, searchable by name and topic. Picking one fills the Vibe composer with a draft request; review and send it to have Vibe write original copy for the current project. The reference samples guide tone and rhythm, and are not copied into the result.

The Visual templates view is a browser for Klipeo's template catalog. Search it, narrow it with the category chips, or filter by the app a template is built for: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Resolve, CapCut, or Canva. Each card shows a preview, a title, the creator, and its tags.

A template that carries a composition has an Add to timeline button. It builds the template's layers and lands each one on its own new text track at the playhead, so nothing already on the timeline moves. A template without a composition shows Preview only instead.

Canvas size

A composition has a canvas, and you pick its shape from the presets:

PresetSizeGood for
16:91920 x 1080YouTube, landscape
9:161080 x 1920Reels, TikTok, Shorts
1:11080 x 1080Square posts
4:51080 x 1350Feed posts
4:31440 x 1080Classic
21:92560 x 1080Ultrawide, cinematic
2:31080 x 1620Pinterest, print

A new composition starts at 16:9 (1920 x 1080). In Inspect → Project → Canvas, the Size dropdown lists the standard ratios and one group per platform (Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Dribbble, App Store), and the W × H fields take exact pixels. Changing the size rescales every clip and title with it. Frame rate is a dropdown too: 24, 25, 30, 50, or 60 fps, defaulting to 30.

Background and style

The Background section opens on Image: seven wallpaper collections shown as 3 × 3 tiles that scroll inside the section, with a Blur strength for the wallpaper itself. Gradient, Magic, and Solid hold the colour libraries, Blur fills the canvas with a blurred copy of the clip, and Custom takes a hex colour or a CSS background. Picking a wallpaper opens an 8 % margin so it shows around the clip.

Presets at the top of the panel applies a whole look at once: Spotlight, Magazine flatlay, Lifted, Neon dreams, Editorial, Desktop view, Glass card, or Sunset fade. Each sets the backdrop, frame, shadow, grain, and light sheet; change anything afterwards and the preset simply stops being highlighted.

Style frames the clip: Padding from 0 to 100 %, corner Radius from 0 to 80 px, a Frame (glass light or dark, outline, light or dark border, or a Safari or Chrome window whose address you can edit), a Device bezel (front-facing iPhone, MacBook, and Apple Watch mockups; the clip fills the screen), a Shadow preset (None, Hug, Soft, Strong, or Custom with a depth slider), and Grain for film noise over the backdrop. Light & shadow sheets lay a soft light across the whole frame, and 3D stickers drops a rendered shape onto the canvas at the playhead. All of it renders identically in the preview and the export.

To bring a live web page into the project, open the Assets composer's + menu and choose Screenshot a website: enter the address, pick desktop or phone and light or dark, and the capture lands in the Project tab as a picture.

One project, many sizes

Need the same edit as a wide YouTube cut and a vertical Reel? Make a composition per size inside one project. Or ask Vibe to reframe, or run the Social pack Skill to get 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 from one master.
